East-West Highway Nepal Butwal Magarghat Bridge

Butwal sub-metropolitan, located in Rupandehi district of Lumbini zone of Nepal, is the capital of province number five. Situated on the banks of the river Tinau in the lap of the Chure Hills, the confluence of the hills and the Terai, it is known as the famous commercial and educational centre of Nepal.

A concrete bridge is being built on the Tinau and Danav rivers flowing through Butwal, the temporary capital of the state. Some bridges have been built on both the rivers and some are under construction.
many new bridges have been added in Butwal in a period of three years. In other places, the construction of bridges has been delayed due to contractors, but many bridges on both the rivers in Butwal have been completed on time.

The people of Rupandehi have benefited from the construction of bridges on both the rivers. Due to these two rivers, the distant markets and settlements are gradually getting closer. The locals who have been facing problems due to lack of bridges despite the distance are very comfortable.

The Magarghat Bridge under construction as an alternative to the Tinau Bridge under the East-West Highway, the Debinagar-11 of Butwal, the beautiful city of Nepal, the capital of Province No. 5, and the Magarghat Bridge connecting Jogikuti-Raniganj are being prepared to be operational soon after completion.
